FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are your products kosher approved?
Yes, the vast majority of Aurora’s products are Kosher Approved through the Circle K Kosher Certification Agency of New York. Those items not kosher certified contain ingredients unsuitable for the kosher eater and are packed and handled away from the kosher certified products. Most of Aurora’s items are Kosher Parve, with the exception of a few trail mixes and granolas, which are Kosher Dairy.
How are the veggie chips manufactured?
The veggie chips are vacuum fried in a steel chamber in a lower barometric pressure. The reduced temperature required in a vacuum fryer has many advantages. For one, the chips’ color and flavor are retained throughout the cooking process for a higher quality chip. In addition, the fat absorption from non hydrogenated oil into the chip is typically lower than in atmospheric fryers, resulting in a healthier food.
How can I get a job at Aurora?
Aurora has a temp to hire policy for the majority of our production positions. This allows both the employee and Aurora to see if the position is the right fit during a brief orientation period. If you would like more information on how to apply through temporary agencies, please contact our HR representative at Jobs@auroraproduct.com. If you would like to submit your resume for any future position openings (management and office positions typically do not go through a temporary agency), you may submit it through this address as well.
